I am Tradukisto
I am a passionate translator, language trainer and editor – as the founder and owner of Tradukisto I have been getting your language and text projects to the point since 2010.
My way
I have turned my passion into my profession: I ensure that your text and language projects truly represent you, match your business (ideas) and address the respective target group. This is true for translations as well as for the editing of texts.
Since 2001, I have dedicated myself in my studies and work to text, language and culture. I studied translation science at the University of Innsbruck as well as conference interpreting at the University of Graz, Austria. Thanks to my study exchanges and numerous stays abroad – in Great Britain, France, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the U.S. and Canada – I was able to immerse myself in “my languages” and get to know the people and culture of the various countries.
As a translator I have primarily worked in the fields of tourism, technology and medicine, both in cooperation with specialised agencies as well as international companies. Being a native German speaker and expert for German, I have ensured that numerous newsletters and presentations were spotless. Furthermore, I have helped develop and produce a range of brochures, study programmes as well as websites. I also enjoy passing on my knowledge about language and culture in company training or individual sessions.
My work is particularly enriching as I am continuously confronted with new and exciting topics which broaden my horizons.

My network
I have been a member of UNIVERSITAS – the Austrian Interpreters‘ and Translators‘ Association – since 2010. Since 2015 I have been a board member, responsible for training and networking events in Graz, and a member of the Young Professionals Support Committee. I have been listed in the online database of certified experts for translations between English and German since 2016.
In addition to professional networking with experienced colleagues, I am available as a mentor and appreciate passing on experience as well as exchanging thoughts and ideas with interesting men and women in networks such as alumni Uni Graz and Universitas as well as in other national and international networks.
As it is not possible and necessary to manage everything on your own, I am particularly proud of being able to fall back on highly experienced and trustworthy colleagues – whether this is for large translation projects, for the revision of translations, in terms of graphic design, business development and further education.
